生物濾池除臭裝置是目前研究Z多、技術成熟，在實際中也Z常用的一種處理惡臭氣體的方法。其處理流程是含惡臭物質的氣體經過去塵增濕或降溫等預處理工藝后，從濾床底部由下往上穿過濾床，通過濾層時惡臭物質從氣相轉移至水-微生物混合相（生物層），由附著生長在濾料上的微生物的代謝作用而被分解掉。這一方法主要是利用微生物的生物化學作用，使污染物分解，轉化為無害的物質。

BOT is a custom engineered biofilter system built at your facility. This system is suited for airflows form 1,000 to 10000 m³/h where total odor solutions are required. The BOT is a cost effective way to treat high flow airstreams consisting of H2S, VOCs and Total Reduced Sulfur （TRS） compounds. Active filter media with a low pressure srop will save energy and running cost.
