Background: TFF3 (trefoil factor 3) is a member of the trefoil family proteins which are characterized by having at least one copy of the trefoil motif, a 40-amino acid domain that contains three conserved disulfides. It is involved in the maintenance and repair of the intestinal mucosa, and promotes the mobility of epithelial cells in healing processes. TFF3 is part of a panel of urinary biomarkers to monitor reversibility of renal injury.
Immunogen: A synthetic peptide from the internal region of TFF3, human origin.
Species Reactivity: Anti TFF3 monoclonal antibody recognizes TFF3 of vertebrates.
Storage Conditions: Store at -20°C. Avoid freeze / thaw cycles
